I never know how to introduce myself really. I have lived most of my life in the seattle-metro area. Photography and Activism have always been my biggest passions. I am a pacifist. I have a keen interest in food. I will strongly consider trying things at least once. Intimacy is my muse.

I am who I am. I have an identity I've known as long as I can remember. Being so sure of who I am means I can get along with anyone. I've worked hard from a young age to keep an open mind, which I considered doubly important since I grew up in South Carolina. I've always been a bit independent and aloof, but I'm always looking for someone to let into my life. I think it's a shame I have to live through it alone. I'm a smart guy who takes honesty to the extreme, so much so that many people have found it hard to remain my friend. I am above all else a chill guy who has fun watching other people be crazy. I don't like desribing myself that much; 'cause I'm a very strange induvidual and I'm not very bashful about it. This tends to scare people away who I'd have a lovely time talking to, I'm a polite, talkitive and personable weirdo. I've always got something to talk about, and I'm never really bored.

On most days, I'm a highly intellectual person; a scholar, nerd, geek, bookworm, all these words describe me. I love books, video games, caligraphy, debate, etc.

On some days I'm quite athletic, I study martial arts, lift weights, and work out. I still have the build of the football lineman I once was; I'm easily described as a big person, stocky in appearance. In recent months I've put on a few pounds, no longer in heavy training.

Hmm...Should I mention I'm self-depricating? I try to be a realist about meself, even though I dream big.

On other days I'm fascinated by music, poetry, and performing arts. I rarely get to indulge my love of these things, but a day at the theater brightens the entire week.

I think I'm a pretty easy going guy. Over time I've enjoyed playing my acoustic guitar, digital piano, singing, building my home recording studio, camping, white water rafting, going to the shooting range, karaoke, and just hangin' out with friends at the bar. I'm quick to laugh and smile easily.

Oh yikes - this will be a work-in-progress. Happy, easy-going mid-lifer with a good job, a nice home, grown children and lots of friends. I'm a geek; surprise! I've been programming for some ten years now, but I only became any good at it two years ago, and I will still think that in another two years. I mostly do Web development, but I also think user interfaces are pretty cool, I tend to have to sysadmin for myself, and I'll dabble in pretty much anything that accepts input from a keyboard. I run Ubuntu Linux on every machine I own and chug the open source Kool-Aid. I have a lot of loud opinions about technical issues that nobody else understands or much cares about. It's okay to tell me to shut up.

I enjoy math and puzzles and that sort of thing. It's pretty much a prerequisite for the above.

Language is fascinating, which is funny since I don't think I either read or write nearly enough. I'm attempting to learn Japanese on my own from a variety of sources... slowly.

I was a military brat as a kid and got to live in a few different places around Europe and the US, but haven't done much exotic travel in the last few years. Would like to again sometime. I did a few years of college, concluded it wasn't really my thing, and set out seeking fame and fortune; still looking.

I swallow small doses of mass media: a handful of TV shows, a handful of manga, the very occasional movie. It's impossible to dredge up the slightest interest in sports. I'm familiar with the video gaming subculture, and I keep up somewhat with video game news, but I neither participate much nor play many games because most of them aren't worth it. I do still keep up with Pokémon, which I think is obligatory for someone using Eevee as a nickname.

Hello! I've haven't kept up on this page in a long time, so time for an update.

I'm horrible at describing myself, I'll just say I'm interested in Politics as a spectator sport, comic books, video games and Martial Arts.

This year has been a full of changes and growth for me. My last profile was created while I was in college, so I decided it was time for a change.

A little about meâ?¦ Where to start. A brief overview of who I am:

Education: Stayed in state for my whole undergrad degree and earned a degree in Civil Engineering at UW. The whole experience was enjoyable, but very intense, and life changing. My favorite class in the department was probably pavement design. It wasnâ??t so much the content in the class as it was the advice the professor gave. During one lecture he skewed off and discussed alternative energy sources for cars. His advice was to get a fast car with a large engine and burn through the fossil fuels as fast as we could. For one, he wanted us to have fun while fossil fuels were still available. Second, there would be little reason for our armed forces to be in the Middle-East, oil, and we could move onto the next fuel source. Ah how I miss college.

Employment: Yes I do have a steady job. I am currently happily employed in downtown Seattle in one of those tall towers along the Seattle skyscrapers. At times I am afraid to look out of the windows, as I am afraid of heights. The view of the Space Needle is nice. I love my co-workers and the work is very fulfilling. Most of the times Iâ??m stuck in a cubicle, but occasionally I get to go out into the field.

A little while ago I was checking some grades and drainage issues around a bridge in Des Moines, WA. The hill was pretty steep. On the way down, there were not any issues. On the way up, it was a little different story. I lost my footing when I stepped into some yard waste some jerk left on the hillside. Slipped and fell down the ravine into the water below. The water was quite cold. The other Engineer and I had a good laugh about it on the way back to the office.

Hobbies: Yes I do have friends that I hang out with and do â??stupid guy things,â?? with, video games, movies, other random things. No it doesnâ??t involve alcohol. Recently, I have taken up working out, running and weight training. Not trying to bulk up, just trying to get back in shape and tone. College didnâ??t leave me much time for this; I used to work out often when I was a teen. Plus it really makes me feel good doing something to improve myself.

I also really enjoy sailing, although I donâ??t get out as much as I would like to. The boat that I take out is a little dingy, about 12-feet long. This summer I took one of my buddies out on the lake with me up in Snohomish, first time I have taken anyone out with me. Normally I go with my dad, and he takes a separate boat. Well I took a corner a little too quick, flipped the boat, and tossed my friend into the lake. So I flipped the boat over. Got it stabilized. I paddled over to get my friend. He tried to climb back in, but flipped the boat over again. This time when I flipped the boat back up, the momentum caused the boat to flip over on me and hit me in the head. Once I flipped the boat back over, third time, my friend tried to get back in one last time. After flipping it, once again, he decided to swim back to shore. Good times, good times.

Personality: If I had to describe my personality in one word, it would be complex, odd how it doesnâ??t show up in my three words about. Then again I would use this word to describe anyone. Why is it that the individuals who describe themselves a simple, are the most complex people that Iâ??ve ever met? I still believe that girls deserve to be treated like ladies, and reserve that right until proven otherwise, ie you donâ??t want to know. The guy should pay for the first date. I am very generous with those who I care about and try not to think about those who I have opposite feelings towards.

Wrap-up: Employed, educated, has a car, not just looking for sex (I've seen this on many young ladies profiles and wanted to point this out), and knows how to use spell check.

So, about myself. I'm kinda hard to describe, but who isn't? I'm outgoing, but sometimes I can be a bit shy and reserved. I'm independent, yet I like to have people I can rely on. I'm adventuress and like to get outdoors, but sometimes I like to stay in playing games or watching tv. Maybe this isn't that weird...isn't this how most people are?

Hobbies and activities...wow, where to start. I'm into so many different things that it gets a bit ridiculous. Usually on the weekends I like to do things that get me outside; bike riding, walking downtown Seattle, traveling, or site seeing. That sort of thing. However, during the week, or when the weather is bad, I usually like to come home and play some video games, or watch some TV. Oh ya, I'm also a Dance Dance Revolution pro. No kidding, I rock at that game and play it all the time. I also enjoy messing with anything related to computers or technology. Chances are, if your computer's broke, I can fix it.

All this being said, I feel that a girl with a nerdy or dorky side would do well with me. A taller girl would be nice (because I'm rather tall myself), but it certainly isn't a requirement. Someone who shares similar hobbies would be great, but I'm also looking for people to compliment my lifestyle and introduce me to new things. I'm not looking for anything specific in a partner, just someone with a positive outlook and who can laugh, have fun, and not sweat the small stuff.

I'm fiercely loyal, and honest to a fault sometimes. I have mostly crude humor and often get in trouble for it. My mouth is both a blessing and a curse. I often use myself as the butt of my jokes, but it's not because I don't like or respect myself, it's because I know more about me than anything else! I frequently correct other people's usage of words and spelling, and have a fondness for run-on sentences. (Typing like I talk is fun!) I switch my hair color and length every other month or so. And I'm a total nutter, but I wear crazy well!!

I am labeled a "bisexual" but that's because there is no choice for "don't label my sexuality you asshats" I believe sexuality is fluid. You like who you like, love who you love, and fuck who you want to fuck. It really isn't about gender identity, or other silly mitigating factors. It's about pure chemistry. The short of a much better story is I have all the boy in my life I desire, but there is a rather sad lack of pretty girl in my life. Much better explanation if you care to know, my life is a fairly open book, almost no topic is off limits.

This year in general has been a real wake-up call though in all aspects of my life pretty much. I discovered I am just full on lesbian, dont ask me how or why its been awkard with relationships my whole life and I've been bi too long as I am almost a quarter century old ^_^
My coming out experience never really happened. I was practically a-sexual my whole childhood with a couple short term failed miserably failed relationships with men.

Try to bear with me here, I went to jr high and high school in the valley and could count the male and female gay students with one hand!
I had friends who made out with eachother when they were wasted and I was always confused by it.
I got irrationally jealous when my best girlfriend started hanging out with other girls and didnt know why.
All in all, most of my life has been very sheltered.
I didnt realize it until I was finally exposed one night I was 18 and my guy friends took me to a strip club in Hollywood. They paid for 2 lapdances for me so they could watch! Perves!
from then on i realized an interest in women sexually.
I have had serious relationships with girls of different ages, races, and lifestyles.
The reason I go so deep into explaination on this is because I want to be taken seriously. I am not interested in men and have never really been, lets just say they're easy in every way possible and everytime I had to have been under the influence of something to go along with it.

One thing I am not game for is drama. There are so many definitions everyone has to that word but my definition is this:

freaking out over not returning your calls/text/emails right away
freaking out over me being too tired on the weekends
asking loaded questions
lying about coming back to see me in an hour on the first date(or any date) no joke, this fucking happened to me and it was the first girl I met on this very dating site no less!
trying to change me, I have a very loving and doting mother for that ^_~

I wish there were a simple phrase I could post which would expose my personality to the core, but I like to think Iâ??m more complex than some catchphrase. I spend a totally appropriate amount of time by my standards clowning around with my friends in various stages and methods of intoxication yelling things, playing games (board and video)and having conversations like "what if a wolf attacked us RIGHT NOW".
