  Dr. Laurie Jacobson is a board certified dermatologist who completed a laser, cosmetic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship in New York City. She is the first doctor to bring the Fraxel laser to Seattle in 2006.\n\nDr. Laurie Jacobson graduated from the University of Michigan with Distinction and then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for medical school. She completed her dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University where she was Chief resident. Following her residency, she trained with Dr. Roy Geronemus for her Mohs and laser fellowship. She worked in Manhattan for two years at Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York prior to moving to Seattle. Dr. Jacobson's practice at the Pacific Dermatology and Cosmetic Center focuses on general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
