Bellevue Montessori School Reviews

It is a decent school for the money paid, nothing very great to praise about. Parking is a great pain, specifically during the arrival and dismissal time, it is very tough, hardly any space for parents to park, most of the time waiting in line on the curb. Play area pretty scary with no even level, during events you have to scramble for parking and sometimes park in opposite reserved business area with risk of being towed. The children are working independently at all times through out the year, no group or team interactions, child is not able to nurture into working with other kids. Fees is comparable with other private schools, not all assistant teachers are Montessori trained, teacher student ratio could be smaller.

I have 2 children, the oldest has attended BMS for 4 years and is graduating to middle school and my youngest has gone there for 3 years and is starting in their lower elementary program. We found the school after my oldest child had a very negative and punitive situation at another private school. This school absolutely nurtures the whole child. Both my children have excelled both mentally and educationally. In the elementary program all the parents are involved and in the pre-elementary almost all are involved but it are highly encouraged. When it came time for my daughter to move to the next level, it was clear that she was prepared and the next level schools liked the children coming from this school. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter goes to this school and I can't say enough great things about it. They teach life, social and academic skills.

Depends on the teacher, the school can be rated excellent to ok. Overall, it's a good school for kids from 3 to 5.

Several students from Bellevue Montessori have come to the middle school program where I teach. It is a wondderful, nurturing environment that stays true to the Montessori method. Students are intellectually curious and come to the middle school level with excellent skills and work habits.

This is a great school. The materials for teaching are great. In addition to reading, writing and 'rithmatic, the kids learn science, geology, animal and plant classifications, drama, and foreign language.
